Megan and I were discussing when to fit in family pictures. Because it's summer and the best light is at like... 7 am, I was figuring you wouldn't all want to get up that early. I was also thinking sunset, but wanted to get everyone's thoughts about a big group picture. Megan was thinking Thursday might not be a good time because maybe not everyone would be coming. I was thinking Friday might be hard because everyone will be playing all day and not "dolled up" for pictures.
So I thought we'd get everyone's opinions! Either leave a comment here or on the link on FB with your thoughts. Thursday or Friday evening? Either way, we'll be pushing back the 7:00 activity back just slightly and I'll be finding a good place nearby where we can take the pictures.

Even if I manage to get a Thursday flight, I don't think we'll be in any condition to take photos Thursday night...I vote for Friday night or Saturday morning???
ReplyDeleteEither evening will work for us. 7am will be very hard with the kids. Evening light should be great.
ReplyDeleteRemember we are swimming from 3-6 on Friday evening and then coming back to the church for dinner, so people might not look that great for a photo. Maybe Saturday before we head to the park. Although it would be mid morning.
ReplyDeleteOne idea is that we could do the pictures inside at anytime. If we must do them outside, then after dinner could work on Friday. We could take the time to get dressed after swimming.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think the important group to get is the 7 children and spouses. Viljar down to Annela. So they can do a formal photo all dressed up, while the rest of us it is not as important. Since they can all get dressed up get to a photo shot without worrying about children, we can let that happen at any time.
